Everyday the people you interact with have many things to say to you. Some things are good. Some things are bad. Naturally, the negative comments are the ones that tend to stick out, to stay with us, to dwell on our minds and to suck away our confidence.
The positive comments, the kind words and the compliments are the ones that we should focus on. A unique way to zero-in on those positives is to keep what I call a “Compliment Chronicle”.
A “Compliment Chronicle” is just that…a chronicle of compliments. When you receive a positive comment, a kind word or a compliment, write it down immediately. Keep a daily log of the kind things that people say to and about you.
The most important part follows. Dwell on the contents of your Compliment Chronicle. Believe those things that you have written down. Affirm yourself daily with those comments, words and compliments.
When you change your thoughts, you change your mind. And when you change your mind, you change your life.
